This is something a little bit different than my regular food posts! Anyways, on the weekend I watched Jurassic World at the new VIP theatre in Markham. The seats were very large and very spaced out and there was a lot of space in front for extra leg room.
The VIP experience is only for 19+ (minimum age), I'm guessing because it has alcohol. You have the opportunity to order food when the trailer starts - but don't forget your scene card for an extra 10% off of food. I ordered a Sweet Escape, which was to die for, and would come back for it time and time again!
The place is still pretty empty, and this was after the movie. After movies/shows usually there's always a tonne of people trying to exit the theatre - but this was nice. The movie overall didn't have a great storyline. Most of it consisted of dinosaurs fighting each other or the main characters running for their lives. However, the 3D experience made it very very enticing! The dinosaurs would either come at you or you really felt like you were in the forest. 3/5 stars for the movie!
Back to the theatre, these are just some of the pictures of the unfinished cinema. For sure the one that used to be placed at First Markham Place was definitely due for an upgrade.
