Tobermory

This is perhaps one of the most beautiful places I have been to in Ontario. It literally took my breath away, and I can't wait to go back already! We did stop way too often in the beginning taking pictures of everything...literally. Of course, we didn't know we should be saving our batteries for the good stuff.

The pictures above were taking at Singing Sands (what a name). Whoever decided to name these hike trails at Tobermory was very creative...for example, Half Log Dump? How incredibly attractive isn't it? We went on an off-season weekend, and for whatever reason there were still many many people.

I would recommend staying at a cottage so you can cook. There aren't many food choices there, and it definitely wasn't exactly the best you can get. It's more fun to get out there with friends and just spend time together by cooking.

These pictures don't even do the place justice. The definitive clear blue skies, how high we were from the waters, the smashing waves, the cool summer breeze...it was surreal. Everything was so insanely beautiful.

This is also know as the Hanging Cliff...I'm sure you can see why that is. However, prior to taking a break at the end of our hike...we did not know there was nothing below us to support us.

One of my favourite pictures. You definitely cannot recreate it without the help of those cloudy skies. We tried to stay long enough to take pictures of the sunset but luckily...we scored this beauty instead. Just stop and smell the flowers.

It was super relaxing to attempt to get a fire started at night. We had such good luck with find birch around...but not so lucky with the wind! We did, however, get something started..and toasted a couple marshmallows of course. And one last crazy picture...
